Written text:
For nearly ten long years, I roamed the streets,
Oblivious to the trail beneath my feet.
It whispered through the trees, but I was blind,
Too wrapped in life to hear the woods unwind.
The sun had kissed this place a thousand days,
While I, a stranger, walked my separate ways.
Each leaf, each stone, had patiently stood by,
Waiting for the moment I’d meet the sky.
At last, I stumbled on its quiet bend,
A path I never knew would be my friend.
Now every step feels like a sweet embrace,
A hidden treasure, time could not erase.
How strange to think that all these years it lay
Just out of reach, yet only steps away.
The trail was there; the journey now begun,
A decade late, but still the race was won.
